Modeled after an original drawing by Berta Hummel, "Tit for Tat" is a wonderful example of how Berta Hummel's art represented the real life that was taking place around her, and also of the slightly irreverent sense of humor which often makes its way into her drawings.In 1984, Goebel Master Artist Gerhard Skrobek modeled a figurine based on Berta's original drawing. After approval by the Artistic Board at the Convent, the figurine took its place as a "Possible Future Edition," (PFE) in the Goebel archives, waiting to be selected for release.
