In 2001, the Walt Disney Studios authorized the production of alimited-edition series titled "Spirit of America." This sericel portraysMickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck posed as the men in the classic painting,"Spirit of 1776." It is one of the few pieces of Disney memorabiliainscribed with a quote from Walt Disney himself. Now Lenox issues "Spirit ofAmerica" as a three-dimensional sculpture. And like the sericel thatinspired it, this sculpture, too, will carry the words of Walt Disney.
