Peter George, Greenbook's D56 Historian, was in Tennessee talking to the manager of a store when he told him about a woman who came into the store and approached him about a building she had tried to sell at a garage sale. From her description he believed that he knew which one she was referring to. Not having the building, he showed her the Dickens' Village Mill ornament and went on to tell her about its value and the collection in general. She had not realized any of this, and the people who attended her garage sale apparently didn't either. It remained unsold for an entire weekend with an asking price of only $2.00!
